BREAK DOWN THE WALLS OF RELIGION
Someone To Care...
      -some recent thoughts from Martyr
6:30 am:

I was listening to a "
christian ministry" radio station.  It was Monday, that great day .  I
stopped at BK to get a cup of coffee, barely awake - only in America.  My radio dial was set
to 103 fm.  A song was playing with the title, "Someone Who Cares."  The announcer came
on afterward and announced the singer and the title of the song.  The thought came to me,
"Where would I be if that (someone who cares) was the way it really was in life?"  Another
thought came to me, "Wait a minute.  Without the truth and the Holy Spirit, what would this
(life) be all about?"

Song-like, then an idea came to me, "They say there's someone for everybody."  Just then,
the morning program host came back on the radio
and began making fun of one of their
morning crew
by asking, "Did you eat at Wendy's restaurant on Thanksgiving?"  I eat there all
the time, I thought to myself.  Then I heard a lady saying even Jesus couldn't please people.
The next song the radio ministry (?) played was, "I Could Sing of Your Love Forever," by
Sonic Flood.

The Point

What is it?  I am going to be as nice about it as I can.  I guess what I am trying to say to you
is this:  If you have ever been loved
by Love, you know real love.  Real love goes like this:  I
love you...YOU.  Learn to love me.  I use compassion on you.  That's the true witness of His
love; His stamp of approval.  Love is this: "
For God so loved the world, He gave His only
begotten Son; that whosoever believes on Him, should not perish but have everlasting life."
What a true blessing.

When I was naked, you...YOU...
YOU clothed me...yes, me, your neighbor.  (It was an
inconvenience, but you did it.)  When I was hungry, you...YOU...
YOU fed me - your
neighbor.  You saw the need.  You fulfilled the call when you heard it.
You gave it your all,
AS UNTO GOD.  This is ministry. Some are getting it; some are not.  That's the message.
