Numbers

(According to Wilmington's Guide to the Bible, the following numbers are used in scripture
to represent different things.  
Wilmington's Guide to the Bible also gives scriptures to
support each number's meaning.)

1.
One.  The primary number.  Signifies absolute singleness.
2.
Two.  The number of witness and support.
3.
Three.  Number of unity, accomplishment, and of the universe.
4.
Four.  An earth related number.
5.
Five.  The number of grace.
6.
Six.  This is the number of man.
7.
Seven.  The number of God, or divine perfection.
8.
Eight.  The new beginning number.
9.
Nine.  The fullness of blessing number.
10.
Ten.  The human government number.
11.
Twelve.  The divine government number.
12.  
Thirty.  Associated with sorrow, mourning.
13.  
Forty.  The number of testing, trial.
14.  
Fifty.  Associated with celebration and ceremony.
15.  
Seventy.  Associated with human committees and judgement.
